Vinson Reynolds is entering his first season with the Oklahoma State Football Program as the Defensive Graduate Assistant. Vinson’s responsibilities include coaching the defensive ends, assisting with recruiting, handling film breakdowns and working summer camps.
Before coming to Oklahoma State, Vinson coached two years at the University of Wisconsin Platteville for the 2006 and 2007 seasons. During his stint at Platteville, Vinson was responsible for coaching the defensive line; additional responsibilities included coordinating film breakdown, preparing practice scripts and recruiting the metro Milwaukee area.
While at Platteville, Vinson was fortunate to have coached two All-Conference players, Chris Booze and David Akey. In 2007, defensive end David Akey became the first UWP player to receive first team All-Conference since 1999.
Vinson received his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University in 2004. While at NIU, Vinson was a four year lettermen on the defensive line. During his senior season, Vinson was voted first team All-Conference and Team Defensive MVP. In 2007, Vinson received his Masters of Arts from the University of Wisconsin Platteville in Adult Education.
