Oklahoma State's student-athletes recieve the best health care available.
A team of full-time professionals, along with a statewide network of specialists, provide the Cowboys with the ultimate in health care. OSU has an on-site team physician in Dr. Val Gene Iven. An OSU alum, Dr. Iven spent 13 years as the head team doctor for the men's athletic department at the University of Tennessee before returning to Stillwater. Dr. Mark Pascale serves as the team's orthopedic surgeon. The sports medicine staff also includes, head athletic trainer Rob Hunt and athletic trainer Scott Parker, graduate assistant Erin Gerlich and a team of undergraduate athletic trainers.

The new sports medicine center in the west end zone includes a new digital x-ray machine and an on-site pharmacy. The hydro room includes four pools of varying deth and temperature and cameras that will observe and record underwater therapy.
